Our baby has a heart condition and was admitted for over ten days in the paediatric ICU. Emily demonstrated great care and attention to detail. She was very thoughtful and made an effort over and above her normal duties. When our baby was getting over 80% oxygen, she contacted the doctor to explain her observation and that lead to us transferring him to Sunninghill. She quickly picked up when something unusual was happening and took action immediatley. She gave me emotional support and provided resources for me to be able to cope. She gave my son attention and was able to calm him and settle him. She thought outside the box and showed compassion. She took interest in his condition and did additional research to explain the process to me. Thank you so much, Emily!

Angel Esther, is how I described Esther. With my previous visit to Head and Neck Ward May2024, and now again Feb2025, I had the opportunity to be cared by Sr Esther. She made me feel safe and secure, as she every time came and organised my trolley and did leave it in a much better state, than she received it. Her care is above the average, the way she takes care of every area of my post-surgery requirements. She knew exactly what to do and how to do it, and that gave me a big piece of mind, especially because I was unable to talk. After attending to my emotional and physical needs, she will end of with an excellent foot, leg and Back rub. it caught me by surprise, as I did not expect that final touch, but that rubs made me calm and relaxed and I do appreciate the value that it adds. Esther is a perfect example of doing your work with passion... And THAT makes all the difference. Thank YOU Esther.
