Mediclinic Southern Africa prides itself on the calibre of staff, attracted and retained in an increasingly difficult labour market. We believe that the level of job satisfaction of our more than 16 000 employees is directly influenced by our group values, our policy of internal and external equity, and a stated commitment to the development of each individual. An Ipsos Markinor survey on staff engagement shows the majority of employees are proud to work for Mediclinic and believe it is one of the best brands in the industry.
Mediclinic welcomes employees who are driven team players with a high level of commitment to the growth of the business through service excellence.
A high premium is placed on competency-based recruitment and selection to ensure that the best individual is appointed according to the unique requirements of each vacancy. All vacancies are advertised simultaneously internally and externally. Internal candidates will however receive priority consideration. We believe in promoting internal talent where appropriate.
As an employer, we are committed to equality in all employment practices and are therefore sensitive to each business unit’s Employment Equity plan when appointments are made.
