I would like to share my wonderful experience in unit N and the guardian angel that has saved my life, sister Bianca De Villiers the young sister was working night shift, and she is exceptional. I am a very light sleeper at night I would see her walking around checking patients whether they are fine from bed to bed, doing rounds while the patients are sleeping. when she is working with you, she explains everything so perfect, and I see how she does it with the handover. She remembers every detail when she gives information to the day shift. One day she came to me and said she is worried that when I am asleep, I stop breathing for a while and she is going to mention t to my doctor. I wasn't aware of that and to my surprise she was correct. Tests were done and it was found that I stop breathing in my sleep and my oxygen levels are low. I could have died in my sleep. I came from Western Cape, and I am very impressed with the level of care I have been receiving in this hospital. God sent me here and there was a guardian angel waiting to save my life.
