Mediclinic Stellenbosch experienced severe roof damage to a part of the hospital affecting the surgical, paediatric and NICU wards. Three neonatal patients were transferred to another Mediclinic hospital to ensure uninterrupted care. No patients were harmed during the incident.
We are working closely with the Western Cape disaster management teams, there has been no storm related patients thus far admitted to our facilities.
