Cardiac Unit
Our newly established cardiac unit offers comprehensive care to our patients and includes a state-of-the-art catheterisation laboratory and a dedicated cardiothoracic theatre. These facilities enable us to provide both advanced diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in a safe and specialised environment.
The catheterisation laboratory offers diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures such as coronary angiography, coronary and peripheral angioplasty, coronary and vascular stent placement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), and the implantation of pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs).
Our dedicated cardiothoracic theatre is also equipped with the latest technology and specialised equipment, ensuring that complex cardiac surgical procedures can be performed to the highest standards. Together, these facilities make the entire cardiac unit a modern, state-of-the-art centre comparable to the best cardiac facilities in the country.
Our cardiac unit benefits from specialised equipment, modern medical therapies, and a multidisciplinary heart team of highly skilled and experienced doctors. The team includes cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, specialised anaesthetists, experienced nursing staff, and technologists who collaborate to provide high-quality cardiac care.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Highly specialised and dedicated medical and nursing personnel play an essential role in the treatment and care of the babies, and paediatricians are available 24-hrs per day.
The unit is also equipped with the latest technology and promotes and utilises "kangaroo nurturing", in which the mother holds her baby under her clothes and close to her body, in order to promote parent-child bonding.
