Holistic Care Programme
- A diverse-skilled team comprising a psychiatrist, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and dieticians work together to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- The patients will follow a two-week programme, approved by the Board of Health Funders and the fees for all parties concerned will be covered according to your medical aid benefits.

Admission
Mondays: 08:00 – 12:00
Should you not have reported at Welkom Medical Centre on the given times of admission, the availability of the reserved accommodation cannot be guaranteed. You will be admitted for two to three weeks, depending on your progress – please plan accordingly and finalise all personal matters prior to admission.
What to Bring
- Medical aid card and identification document (ID)
- All chronic medication and apparatus e.g., glucose meter
- Comfortable clothing
- Sleepwear and dressing gown
- Toiletries
- Pen and notepad
- Anything else you may need to make yourself more comfortable – e.g. own pillow
Please leave the following items at home:
- Valuable items (laptops, jewellery, large amounts of money)
- Electronics (kettles, irons, fans, heaters or electric blankets)
- Alcohol or any illegal substance
- Weapons
Visiting Times
- Please adhere to visiting times as patients attend
- Group therapy sessions during certain hours and may not be disturbed.
- Monday – Thursday: 16:00 – 20:00
- Friday: 14:00 – 20:00
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 – 20:00
Services During your Stay
- Laundry: Should you require cleaning of any clothing items, the facility has a laundry service available on Saturdays.
- Recreation Facility
- Parking: Patients are permitted to park their vehicles in the designated parking area – please enquire from staff. All vehicles are parked at the patient’s own risk.
