Mediclinic Southern Africa recently completed the renaming of Denmar Specialist Psychiatric Hospital to Mediclinic Denmar Mental Health Services, as part of their extended focus on mental health services.
Mediclinic acquired the private psychiatric hospital in 2019 and believes that this realignment will further support their expansion of mental health services available across the care spectrum.
Founded in 1951, the hospital is a well-recognised private psychiatric hospital in the community offering 170 bed private facility catering for psychiatric patients as well as theatre and day clinic facilities.

This expansion of the Mediclinic brand includes the recent addition of a number of Mediclinic Day Clinics and Mediclinic Renal Service facilities situated across South Africa.
