FAQ: Mediclinic Learning Opportunities

I am not a Mediclinic employee, but I am already registered at the South African Nursing Council. Can I still apply?

Learning opportunities are open to Mediclinic employees. Please take the opportunity to apply for a permanent position at Mediclinic. If you are then appointed, you can apply to study within the group. Visit the Career site for available positions.

How can I confirm my registration status once I have applied? 

You need to log in to your profile and select 'Jobs applied'. A list of your applications will appear.

When can I expect to receive feedback after registration?

Feedback will be provided three weeks after the registration closing date. 

Does Mediclinic accept off-line (paper) applications?

No.

Can I apply to more than one centre/programme? 

No, please to apply for only one location and one programme.

Is it required for all applicants to attach a South African Qualifications Authority letter?

No, only if you obtained your Grade 12 certificate or senior certificate outside of South Africa.

What does 'citizenship' mean?

If you were not born in South Africa, this means that you are a regarded as a foreigner.  You will have to apply for citizenship at the Department of Home Affairs to receive a South African identity number.

What do I do if I receive error messages?

Ensure that all required fields have been completed and are in the correct format.

How do I make the registration payment? How much is it?

Banking details and the amount required will only be sent to qualifying applicants after the applications have been processed. Payment needs to be made and uploaded to the candidate profile before the closing date once instructions have been received.

Will Mediclinic call me to inform me of the psychometric assessment date?

No, you will only be invited via e-mail. Please regularly review your status and go through your emails.
