Cardiac unit
Medi-Clinic Heart Hospital is the only private unit with 3 cath labs of which 1 is a biplane flat panel where we provide diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, that amongst others, include coronary angiograms and angioplasties, coronary and vascular stent placements, electro-physiology studies and ablations.
Emergency centre
Medi-Clinic Heart Hospital opened the first 24-hr Chest Pain Emergency Centre in Pretoria. This dedicated emergency centre offers patients access to specialised care in any cardiac or related emergency. This includes chest pains of any origin, heart attacks, abnormal heart rhythms and thoracic trauma.
