Bloemfontein Medi-Clinic, situated in the heart of Bloemfontein's developing centre, is supported by specialists in most medical and surgical disciplines, and with increasing pressure on the only private cardiac unit in the region, a double-storey integrated cardiac unit opened in 2000, connecting the two heart catheterisation laboratories and two heart theatres with the critical care unit by means of an air bridge.
Bloemfontein Medi-Clinic, in close cooperation ER24 also provides medical assistance to several academic institutions, including Grey College, Oranje Meisieskool and the University of the Free State.
