Medi-Clinic Southern Africa has nearly 7 000 beds in more than 50 multidisciplinary hospitals in South Africa and Namibia.

Cape Gate Medi-Clinic
The opening of the multi-million Rand Cape Gate Medi-Clinic private hospital in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, on 8 February 2010, will mark a new era of quality medical care to residents in this region.
The Board of Medi-Clinic has recently appointed Mr Chris van den Heever as a non-executive director of Medi-Clinic with effect from 5 February 2010.
Private hospital group Medi-Clinic maintained its consistent growth pattern in the six months ended 30 September 2009, with a 15% increase in headline earnings and a solid performance in its South African and international operations.
Medi-Clinic Southern Africa welcomes the appointment of its Funder Relations and Contracting Executive, Roly Buys to the 25–member NHI Ministerial Advisory Committee that will advise Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi.
